BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT BATGIRL EXPANSION LANDS JULY 14TH FOR SEASON PASS HOLDERS; 21ST FOR EVERYONE ELSE

When it was announced, the Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass promised six additional months worth of content and it looks like it’s coming sooner rather than later. To quell the hate fires when the hefty price tag of the Season Pass was revealed, WB Games teased a stand alone story starring Batgirl before her unfortunate accident that robbed her of her ability to walk and transformed her into her new role as Oracle. The anticipated add-on, titled Batgirl: A Matter of Family, will be available to those who purchased the Season Pass in a week from Tuesday on July 14th, while everyone else can buy it for around $9 USD a week after that on July 21st. An interesting development that has come from the announcement is that the Batgirl story isn’t being developed by Rocksteady games, but rather WB Games Montreal who made the polarizing Batman: Arkham Origins.

  1. I really hope WB games doesn’t just make Batgirl a palette swap for Catwoman. They did it in Arkham Origins when playable Deathstroke was basically a Robin-clone (staff and all).

I was disappointed to say the least.

    • I’m just hoping it’s more than the Harley and Red Hood stuff they put in as pre-order bonuses. All I can say is, thank Odin they were free.
