The Game Awards took place this Thursday, and like every year, it was packed with trailers for both new and already announced upcoming games. Oh, and some awards were handed out also. Though there wasn’t any exciting new comic book game world premieres like Blade or the now cancelled Wonder Woman game, 2 games did get new trailers and release dates to match.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight was on deck with a loving homage to Batman: Arkham Asylum to kick off this previously unseen footage. Joining the roster of villains from those already announced include Firefly, Poison Ivy, Mr. Freeze and Two-Face. To keep up with the chaos, Batman and James Gordon are also getting some new compatriots. Catwoman can guide a kitty helper with a laser beam, Batgirl who comes equipped with a hacking batarang, and rounding out the team are Robin and Nightwing.
Arriving on May 29th, 2026 on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series devices and PC – with a Nintendo Switch 2 release date to follow – LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is available to pre-order now at most retailers and comes in a few flavors. From the WB Games press release:

Ella Mental was created exclusively for the tag-team fighter developed by Quarter Up, a studio made up of many who worked on the Killer Instinct reboot in the early days of the Xbox One.
