Not to be overshadowed by the buzz being generated online over the new film, EGMnow spoke with developer Beenox who released more gameplay details for the Amazing Spider-Man videogame.

The new mechanic they are promoting in the studios third Spidey outing is “Web Rush”. While details are limited at this time, it s being described as a tool that can be triggered on the fly that offers real-time navigational and combat choices. It is also confirmed that the game will be set in an open world version of Manhattan.

Over at the Beenox’s Facebook page, it was also stated that a new trailer would be dropping in the upcoming weeks as well.
