Originally released as an exclusive for the Nintendo 64 back in the fall of 2000, Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion finally made its way to modern machines in 2023 with the loving crafted Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion – Remastered, helmed by Nightdive Studios. Nightdive of course was the developer also responsible for resurrecting the first 2 chapters in the Turok Nintendo 64 saga.
Just as it was for Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion – Remastered is getting a physical release courtesy of Limited Run Games. The various editions produced by the publisher will release on the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and, for the first time since Turok (2008), the franchise will return to the Xbox. To complete the trilogy for die-hard Microsoft fans, both the original game and its sequel are also coming to the Xbox ecosystem.
