Going into the busy holiday shopping season, Arcade1up’s major comic book video game offering this fall was once limited to their X-Men cabinet which includes the classic arcade game, Captain America and the Avengers, and Avengers in Galactic Storm. For the budget conscious – though both are still listed at $297 USD – are Marvel and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Countercades. Measuring at 16.54 D x 11.81” W x 15.75” H when assembled and complete with an 8-inch LCD screen, these units support two-player play and take up far less space than a traditional stand up cabinet. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles machine includes the 1989 arcade game and Turtles in Time, both originally developed and published by Konami.

The Marvel unit will come packed in with The Punisher, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, and Marvel vs. Capcom.

For the Marvel fan that has a lot of disposable income, the $902 Head-to-Head unit takes the form factor of a table with controls for players on either side. This is easily Arcade1up’s most comprehensive Marvel/Capcom table to date as it includes every title developed by them. If you wanted a complete collection of Capcom’s superhero offerings, you once had to have at least three machines in your house. With this one you get the entire catalog consisting of eight games in total:
