It’s been well over a year since the Disney Infinity 3.0 Marvel Battlegrounds was released and approaching a year since the termination of Disney Infinity (moment of silence, please). The figure that came with the Battlegrounds play set that you either own and have on display, own and put away or are presently in a bidding war for, was not the first choice for the second Infinity Captain America figure. From Infiniteer Adventures who spoke with people behind the now shuttered project, Cap nearly had a more heroic than the one that was mass produced that paid homage to the Captain America: First Avenger film poster.
