Did you ever lie awake and wonder “Man, I wish the creator of Kingdom Hearts would redesign Batman to look like a Final Fantasy summon”? No, me either, but he did it anyway.
Tetsuya Nomura, mostly famous for creating the juggernaut Kingdom Hearts franchise but now mostly known for not being able to finish a game, has redesigned the Batman character for Square-Enix’s Play Arts Kai line of action figures. It will be at Comic-Con this week but for display purposes only, however it may be sold down the line as the teaser image indicates it is part of a line of DC themed figures from the creator. Coming soon: Catwoman who bears a striking resemblance to Red XIII.
