Doodle Jump, one of the earliest examples perhaps of the booming mobile game craze, is no stranger to alternate skins: Halloween, Christmas, Jungle and Space themes are just a few of the examples of different skins that have been placed on the simple tilt movement platform game. Now Doodle Jump is draping itself in yet some more costumes: Those of the DC Universe.
Doodle Jump DC Super Heroes launched yesterday on iOS and features the same gameplay as before with a unique twist. The Doodler, the main character of the game, is clad in a Batman costume and the enemies he jumps on and shoots are disguised as Dark Knight rogues like the Joker and the Riddler. Replacing power-ups like springs shoes and the rocket ship are traditional Batman gadgets like the Batplane and copter, while future updates of the title will add other DC themes to the new edition of the game, such as Superman and Wonder Woman.
