Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 wasn’t one of the games shown off during the big E3 press conferences, but that doesn’t mean that Arthur Parsons and TT Games weren’t ready to go big with the game at the convention. Arthur Parsons from TT Games pulled double duty with an interview for PlayStation as well as a live stream for WB Games where he appeared alongside Marvel Games’ Bill Rosemann. Both videos are now archived and can be viewed but some of the big takeaways are new characters like LockjaW, the giant, adorable teleporting dog associated with the Inhumans and Agent Venom (FINALLY). The multiplayer mode for Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 is quite different from that found in Lego Dimensions and it’s interesting to hear Arthur Parsons mention Capcom’s Power Stone as an influence on how they went about designing it. Power Stone was also the template for the Marvel Battlegrounds playset found within Disney Infinity 3.0, so it’s nice that in a way that game lives on somewhat in Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2.
