MARVEL’S GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY TIE-IN BOOKS COMING IN NOVEMBER FROM TITAN

Marvel’s recent slate of games have turned into multimedia franchises in and of themselves. The likes of Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Avengers, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales each received their own toys, comics, novels and art books, a trend that will continue with Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy this fall.

Courtesy of Titan Books, the same company that published Marvel’s Avengers – The Extinction Key and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales: Wings of Fury, comes two books based on the recently announced Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy – The Art of the Game is a hardcover artbook that covers just about every artistic endeavor that went into the making of the game, including ships, characters, planets, and much more.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy – No Guts, No Glory is a prequel novel set before the events of the title that will launch in October. Written by M.K England, the synopsis of No Guts, No Glory is as follows:

With an exclusive adventure leading directly into the game itself, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy – No Guts, No Glory sees Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax the Destroyer, Rocket Raccoon and Groot, as the Guardians of the Galaxy, turning a tidy profit as heroes for hire—or they will be, if Peter Quill can get his act together. An old Resistance base has a squatter, and it’s up to the Guardians to ‘gently escort’ them off the premises… and unmask a wartime traitor while they’re at it. It’s make or break time for the Guardians, and they do so love breaking things… Just hopefully not each other.”

Both The Art of the Game and No Guts, No Glory are available for pre-order starting tomorrow, June 17th, for a November 2nd launch.
