Prequel – a story or movie containing events that precede those of an existing work.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will release in just under a month, but as recently seen with Marvel’s Avengers, players can get an early look into the universe through a new prologue novel.
Little is known about the book other than its sub-title, Wings of Fury, as neither an official plot synopsis nor release date were provided. Post launch, an art book for the game will also be released.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales arrives November 12th for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
UPDATE:
Wings of Fury will come two days before Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales launches on November 10th. In it, Miles will tussle with The Vulture, last seen as a member of Doc Ock’s Sinister Six in Marvel’s Spider-Man. From IGN:
“With an exclusive adventure leading directly into the game itself, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales – Wings of Fury features Miles Morales coming to terms with what it means to be Spider-Man. A mix-up with the law leaves Miles questioning everything and when Vulture and his accomplice Starling unleash experimental tech on Marvel’s New York, Miles must decide what kind of hero he wants to be.“
The companion art book won’t hit stores until February 2021 of next year. Thanks to @qieqie49135035 on Twitter for the information.
