Veteran actor Efrem Zimbalist Jr. died this past Friday at his ranch in the city of Solvang, California. You may not remember the name of Efrem Zimbalist Jr., but perhaps you’ll remember his voice. Zimbalist Jr. was a little bit of DC and a little bit of Marvel in the 1990’s, providing the voice of Alfred Pennyworth in Batman: the Animated Series:
As well as the villainous Doctor Octopus on Spider-Man: The Animated Series:
Upon completion of both shows, Efrem went on to return voicing both characters in the video game world in 2000’s Spider-Man for the PSOne/N64/DC/PC by Activision and Ubisoft’s Batman: Vengeance on the GC/PS2/Xbox. At the time of his passing, Zimbalist Jr. was 95.
