For someone who’s trying to build the most comprehensive hub for all things comic book game related, I feel ashamed that this got past me.
Coming tomorrow from mobile developer Glitchsoft is the video game tie-in to this coming Friday’s blockbuster X-Men film, Days of Future Past. Players can take on the roles of classic X-Men like Wolverine, Cyclops, Colossus, Shadowcat and Scarlet Witch (with more to come) in a 2-D action game that brings back memories of games like X-Men on the Sega Genesis and X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse on the SNES.
I’ll freely admit to not being the biggest mobile gamer in the world, but from the trailer I’m quite looking forward to downloading this on my iPod Touch 5 tomorrow. If anything the fact that the game comes with a price tag is not a free to play cash grab speaks volumes.
X-Men: Days of Future Past is available tomorrow on “i” devices at a cost of $2.99.

I’ve downloaded it this morning and have played 3 levels thus far (my iTouch is charging.) I’m really impressed. Can’t wait to get more characters and am digging the upgrade system.
