This week the penultimate episode in Telltale’s game series based on the comic property Fables, The Wolf Among Us, released in North America missing all but the current generation of consoles that launched last fall. If rumor is to be believed, Telltale may be remedying this in the not too distant future. Major game retailers Best Buy and Gamestop in the US have The Wolf Among Us, presumably the full season, listed at a price of $29.99 on both the PS4 and Xbox One. The two are giving contradicting release dates: Gamestop has the collection coming December 31st, which sounds like a place holder, while Best Buy is advertising a more conservative August 26th release date.
The Wolf Among Us is not the only Telltale property rumored to be coming to current generation consoles. Not long ago the complete collection of the first season of The Walking Dead was also listed on the Gamestop website, also at a price of $29.99.
