The Guardians of the Galaxy were awarded their very own game last week in the excellent The Universal Weapon, but Marvel has much more in storE for the rag tag group of intergalactic heroes beyond one game. We already knew from earlier this week that the team will be getting their own playset in Disney Infinity 2.0, available next month, but to coincide with the release of the film next week, the team will become available in the free-to-play MMO Marvel Heroes, and will also be given a their own spec-ops mission in the Facebook game Marvel Avengers Alliance. Not leaving mobile Guardians fans in the cold, Marvel: War of Heroes will also be updated with boss raids centered around the team.
To round out the Guardians video game tour, they’ll be joined by Ronan the Accuser in Marvel Pinball and will get their own line of skins, costume and avatar content for both versions of Minecraft on Xbox 360/One and Xbox Live.
