Revealed earlier in the year, the upcoming game based on the Battle Chasers series, subtitled Nighwar, is now in the midst of a crowd funding campaign on Kickstarter. The developer Airship Syndicate, composed of staff from former video game developer Vigil, who made the Darksiders series, and Battle Chasers creater Joe Madureira is seeking $500,000 and as of this writing they are well on the way to meeting that goal with close to $375,000 collected already with thirty days to go. From the Kickstarter pitch, the game is being touted as an homage to 16-bit JRPG’s like Final Fantasy and even its in preliminary stages, looks pretty stunning.
