When the Season Pass was announced for Batman: Arkham Knight, six months of post launch content was promised for the final chapter of the Arkham saga. Rocksteady and WB Games have been keeping their promise thus far with new story, challenge as well as cosmetic updates, though overall the content has done little to justify the high asking price and in many ways has cast a shadow over an excellent stand alone master piece. With two and a half months left to 2015, Rocksteady is now laying all their cards on the table and communicating to the fans of Batman: Arkham Knight what they can expect leading up to the new year:

The story DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight has been disappointing and it looks like that will keep trending through the month of November as both story sections for Catwoman as well as Robin are listed as Arkham Episodes, which up until this point have been simple combat and predator missions barely clocking in at a half-an-hour’s worth of content. This leaves December’s Season of Infamy expansion as the last hope for some story DLC that matches the quality of the main game. A curiosity in the list of villains in Ra’s Al Ghul who was last seen at the end of 2011’s Batman: Arkham Knight quite dead, though with Ra’s nothing is ever certain when it comes to his mortality. Rocksteady is also giving players an early chance to see and play as Batman as he’ll appear in next year’s highly anticipated Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, complete with matching Batmobile.
