FURTHER EVIDENCE OF PLATINUM STUDIOS TMNT GAME IN LEAKED COVER ART

At this point the only thing we haven’t received is an official announcement of the rumoured to be in development Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhatten. After several classifications ratings outed the yet to be unveiled TMNT game from Bayonetta and Vanquish developer Platinum Studios, an intrepid Xbox Live watched going by the Twitter name @Lifelower stumbled across the possible cover art for the game, complete with title:

Since 2013’s Out of the Shadows, Activision’s TMNT outings have been either based on the Nickelodeon animated series or the 2014 live-action reboot film. If the leaked art is any indication, this new game will be taking more inspiration from the current IDW published comics and Eastman-Laird days, complete with a similar font on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles logo. Given Transformers: Devastation’s retro-80’s throwback look one would’ve perhaps expected this to look like the classic cartoon or the early Konami games, but if this is indeed how the characters will look in-game, I’m not at all displeased.

C’mon Activision, just show us already!

    • I totally agree. Danger of the Ooze was pretty good on 3DS, I didn’t play in on consoles, but it didn’t stick with me the way games like Turtles in Time did.
