TT Games’ Arthur Parsons just dropped a huge bombshell announcement for PlayStation owners less than two weeks from the launch of Lego Marvel’s The Avengers. Via the PlayStation Blog, Parsons revealed that at launch nine characters from the highly anticipated Captain America: Civil War will be available at launch in a character pack. The characters are as follows: Captain America; Iron Man in Mark 46 armor; Winter Soldier; Scarlet Witch; Black Panther; Falcon; War Machine; Crossbones and Agent 13. Arthur has gone on record to confirm that all of these characters will be playable in the main game and the various open worlds.
The second piece of news that Parsons unveiled is that another film on top of the six already confirmed to appear in the game will be adapted: Ant-Man. Available later this spring, the Ant-Man character and level pack will grant a new level based on the film of the same name and comes with even more characters: Scott Lang both in and out of costume; Ant-Thony; Cassie Lang; Darren Cross; The Wasp (Janet, not Hope from the post credit scene); Hank Pym, Luis, and of course, Yellowjacket.
Both add-ons will be made available at no extra charge for both the PlayStation 3 and 4, however they will not be featured in the PS Vita version.
