The folks at Disney Interactive just held a Disney Infinity next event that showed off some new amazing content coming to Disney Infinity 3.0. Officially launching on March 15th, Marvel Battlegrounds hopes to translate the popular Dreamcast era Capcom 3-D fighter, Power Stone, into Disney Infinity. Within the play set that only is compatible with the 3.0 edition of Infinity will be the new Civil War inspired Captain America and the add-on game which is a 3-D brawler featuring eight arenas, ranging from Knowhere, New York, Asgard as well as Wakanda and each arena is fully destructable.
Speaking of Wakanda, its king, Black Panther, will be coming to Disney Infinity along with two new brand new figures: Ant-Man and Vision. Symbiote Spider-Man, a repaint of the Spider-Man that came with the 2.0 port to PS Vita last May will also live on as a solo figure. Continuing the Marvel news for Infinity, the first Marvel power discs will also be coming to the game in a four pack that includes the following:
- Cosmic Cube Blast – Unleash a powerful energy blast on nearby foes
- Darkhawk’s Blast – Blast obstacles with a powerful energy beam
- Nova Corps Strike – Call upon the Nova Corps to unleash a tactical strike from above
- Ghost Rider’s Motorcycle – Take a ride on the wild side with Ghost Rider’s flaming motorcycle
