CLEMENTINE WILL RETURN FOR THE WALKING DEAD SEASON 3, BUT WHEN EXACTLY DOES IT TAKE PLACE?

Telltale have put the finishing touches on their latest project in the The Walking Dead universe with the final part of their three-episode Michonne mini-series arriving this week, and they’re already busy prepping season three. An official sequel to 2014’s second season of the critically acclaimed series has been on the back burner while Telltale worked on properties like Borderlands and Game of Thrones, but according to series creator Robert Kirkman, players should expect to once again continue the tale of Clementine in the new season.

“We’ll be checking in on Clementine again,…so we’ll be seeing her, seeing where she’s at and what’s going on with her, which is going to be great.” Said Kirkman in a recent interview. Though the first two seasons took place in a vague time frame towards the start of the series, Kirkman stated that we maybe getting an older Clementine in season three as the events of Telltale’s games are now expected to tie in closer to what’s happening in the comics right now.

“Season 3 will actually be getting pretty close to where we are in the comics currently – like the books that are coming out now are roughly in the same time frame that Season 3 will be in…I think that there will be some more comic book elements that we’ll be working in in some interesting ways. I don’t want to reveal too much, but it’ll definitely go hand-in-hand with the comics a little bit more than Season 2 did.”
