Patrick Klepek of Kotaku who broke the fantastic story about the specifics of why Disney Infinity closed (read the full story HERE if you haven’t already) just recently guess starred on the Toys to Games podcast where he disclosed another hearth-breaking Marvel scoop that now unfortunately we’ll never get to see. The scoop that was held for the show was that there were two Marvel figures that Avalanche very passionately wanted to get into production. The first, which is pretty obvious, is Doctor Strange who more than likely would’ve arrived around the time that his film dropped late in the year had Disney not shuddered the doors on Infinity.

The second is a little harder for me to hear as a huge Spider-Man fan. The other Marvel figure Klepek revealed that the team wanted to make was not one that was not heavily promoted by either Marvel’s slate of films, TV shows or animated series. The figure? none other than Spider-Gwen.
