In advance of tonight’s event dedicated to the return of The Walking Dead this fall, Telltale has released some details about their other series coming this summer: Batman: The Telltale Series. First and foremost, Telltale has revealed the list of characters who will be making an appearance in the series as well as who will be playing them. The list is as follows:
- Troy Baker (Uncharted 4; Literally Everything) as Batman/Bruce Wayne
- Laura Bailey (Marvel’s Avengers Assemble) as Selina Kyle/Catwoman
- Travis Willingham (Fullmetal Alchemist) as Harvey Dent
- Erin Yvette (The Wolf Among Us; Tales from the Borderlands) as Vicki Vale
- Enn Reitel (Marvel Heroes) as Alfred Pennyworth
- Murphy Guyer (Red Dead Redemption) as Lieutenant James Gordon
- and last buy certainly not least, Richard McGonagle, who played Victor “Sully” Sullivan in the Uncharted franchise is playing Carmine Falcone
With Harvey Dent not being double billed (no pun intended) as Two-Face, James Gordon being a lieutenant and the inclusion of Carmine Falcone, this appears like the series is going for a Year One/The Long Halloween era Batman. Along with the cast, Telltale released the very first screens from the highly anticipated series that has the trademark Telltale look and fell but is also distinctly Batman as well. From Kevin Bruner, CEO and Co-Founder of Telltale:
“We’ve been hard at work at Telltale creating an all-new iteration of the iconic Batman story that puts players in the suit of billionaire Bruce Wayne, just as much as it will put them behind the mask, deciding how to carefully navigate a complex drama, rich with action, crime, corruption, and villainy lurking around every corner of Gotham City,…”The complex life and fractured psyche of Bruce Wayne has lent itself to becoming a bold evolution of the signature ‘Tellltale’ role-playing experience, and we couldn’t be more excited as we prepare to debut the series to players across the world this summer.”
