Before they made it big with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and the first ever 3-D Spider-Man game, the now defunct developer Neversoft was working on a Ghost Rider game for the PSOne that would have been published by Crystal Dynamics before they ceased publishing to focus on development. Unsseen 64’s Liam Robertson, who had done great work documenting video games that never got released (especially ones based on comic book properties), explores Ghost Rider in his latest video and even though the game the game was only ever a third complete and looks pretty rough in the state it ended on, it sounded like it would’ve been pretty interesting. Eventually Ghost Rider went on to star in his own games based on the 2007 film for the PS2, PSP and GBA, but if things would’ve turned out a little differently, he would’ve beat even Spider-Man to the PSOne by a few years and 2K’s games by a decade.
