In what appears to be the butterfly effect of the closure of Disney’s interactive division, another developer associated with the company has closed its doors following the cancellation of Disney Infinity and the free-to-play game Marvel Avengers Alliance. Canadian based developer United Front Games, who worked on the Disney Infinity 3.0 Marvel Battlegrounds play set has closed their doors according to multiple sources. The developer who debuted with the PlayStation 3 exclusive ModNation Racers is best known for their open world, Grand Theft Auto meets Arkham game Sleeping Dogs which saw a remastered release on the current generations of consoles in 2014.
Their latest post Marvel Battlegrounds game, Smash + Grab, had just gone into Steam early access but the title has since been pulled.
