Telltale Games, with their episodic game structure owe a lot to the medium of television, and now the studio is borrowing something else from that from of entertainment: a two-part season premiere. On December 20th, the third official chapter in Telltale’s The Walking Dead series will kick off with not one, but two new episodes, each of which will be fully downloadable and playable on the same day. The reveal at the 2016 Game Awards was accompanied by a brief looking at the introductory moments of the series where we’re introduced to one of the new characters in A New Frontier, Javier. Watch through to the end of the below video to catch a brief glimpse of a returning Clementine, a much wiser and world-hardened version of the character that we last saw back in 2014 in The Walking Dead: Season Two.
