Someone should inform video game historian Liam Robertson that it’s the holiday season and it’s perfectly okay to take a break. After just releasing a fascinating video about a proposed Watchmen game that never happened, Robertson is back with his longest video yet about the cancelled Flash game from defunct publisher Brash entertainment and developer Bottlerocket entertainment. From the incredible amount of details uncovered, it looks like had it been given a chance to come out, Bottlerocket’s The Flash looks like it could have been the 3-D Sonic game that Sega has failed to capitalize on since games evolved beyond the second dimension. WB Games should take note of this video and get something like this back into production given the renewed popularity of The Flash thanks to the successful TV show starring the character and the upcoming feature film.
