Many thought that after a few leaked screen shots for the first Injustice: Gods Among Us showed Doctor Fate within a stage that he would become a playable character, but history has proven that this was not the case. The good doctor is however leaping from the background into the area in Injustice 2 having been just announced as the next playable fighter in the game.
