Injustice 2 isn’t even yet, though it will be very shortly, and Netherrealm is already teasing the first round of downloadable characters for the alternate universe DC Comics fighting game. Continuing the trend from Injustice: Gods Among us, a Mortal Kombat fighter will join the roster, this time it will be Sub-Zero (who I’m sure will get along just fine with Captain Cold) who replaces Scorpion. The other two fighters which make up what will be known as “Fighter Pack 1” will be the fan favorite Batman family character Red Hood as well as his one time partner in the New 52 title Red Hood and the Outlaws, Starfire. Those who can get their hands on the Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition will be able to get them at no extra cost while everyone else will have to either buy the game’s Season Pass or from their digital store of choice. Injustice 2 arrives May 16th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
