In the latest Kickstarter update for the crowed funded video game revival of the Battle Chasers comic series, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, a release date was finally given for the title:

October 3rd, 2017 is when players can finally get their hands on Battle Chasers: Nightwar with pre-orders already up for the digital version of the game on Steam and physical copies of the game on Amazon for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions (currently there’s no SKU yet for the recently announced Nintendo Switch port). Battle Chasers: Nightwar is a continuation of the Battle Chasers comic series being developed by ex-Vigil Studios (Darksiders series) team members inspired by 16-bit J-RPG’s that was Kickstarted in 2015. Originally the game was to be a downloadable only title, but after securing a publisher in THQ Nordic, a physical release was announced as well. A Switch port was unveiled earlier this year
