A Mortal Kombat fighter, a DC Comics Villain and a character from Dark Horse walk into a bar….
The first round of DLC Fighters from Injustice 2 concluded with the release of Starfire this month, and now the next round has been announced in what will make up Fighter Pack 2. Shown in a brief teaser video were three new characters that will be added to the roster of Injustice 2: The first is Mortal Kombat’s God of Thunder, Raiden, followed by Aquaman’s arch-nemesis Black Manta concluding with the cigar chomping Hellboy. Hellboy being in the game provides payoff to a tease that Netherrealm studio head Ed Boon did in late 2016 when he polled fan interest on what characters people would like to see in Injustice 2 of which Hellboy was one of the choices. It remains to be seen if either the Terminator, Spawn or Buffy the Vampire Slayer will join the fray in the future. No release date was provided when the trio will be coming to the game, however people who bought something higher than the regular edition will be able to download them for free while everyone else will have to buy Fighter Pack 2.
