When Disney Infinity was effectively shut down in 2016, plans of what was coming in the months and years to come in the now defunct toys-to-life gamer were made public via Patrick Klepek, formerly of Kotaku now with WayPoints and Infiniteer Adventures. Things like premium figures, play sets based on Rogue One, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2  and Thor: Ragnarok as well as Spider-Gwen and Doctor Strange figures were featured in articles, spoken about on podcasts and show off in videos. Infiniteer Adventures, who did a video that created a video showing what the Disney Infinity Doctor Strange figure would have looked like had it been produced, recently found a listing on auction site eBay where a prototype Doctor Strange figure was sold.
