The success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has given birth to a new golden age of Marvel video games that started with last year’s Marvel’s Spider-Man and will continue with Marvel’s Iron Man VR, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order and (hopefully) whatever Square-Enix has cooking with their Avengers Project. Rewind eleven years though, and it was a different story. During Phase One of the MCU when the foundation was still being set, the likes of Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Captain America were subjected to the rushed production cycle movie tie-in game that has now all but disappeared. In his last video, Josh over at Panels to PIxels ranks the MCU film tie-in games on the at-the-time current generation of hardware – the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 – and in the spirit of the MCU, you might want to stay behind after the credits.
