When Sony revealed their first look at games for the upcoming PlayStation 5, they did so with a trailer for next chapter in the saga that started with 2018’s Marvel’s Spider-Man: Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Now that same game is also being used to debut what PlayStation 5 games will look like when they start arriving on shelves, presumably later this year:
PlayStation 5 games will retain the blue cases that have become the standard for the PlayStation brand started in this generation, with a white stripe on the top replacing the blue one prevalent on PlayStation 4 games, more than likely to align with the primary color of the next-generation system. As for the cover itself, it’s very in line with that of Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Iron Man VR in that it places the hero front and center.
