If you’re looking for something to do with your brand new Xbox Series S or X, 2017’s terrific fighting game Injustice 2 is coming to the Game Pass service in just two days on January 7th. If you haven’t bought into the next-generation just yet, you’ll also be able to access it through the Xbox One series of consoles, PC and Android devices from the same service.
Developed by NetherRealm Studios, creators of the long-running Mortal Kombat franchise, the Injustice series takes place in a world where a tragedy has turned the Man of Steel into a powerful dictator who’s opposed by a rebellion led by Batman.
Injustice 2 is an easy to pick up and play fighting game that’s worth downloading just for the wonderful story alone. Even if you have no intention to play online with others, there’s plenty of content packed into it to keep you engaged for quite some time.
In our review of Injustice 2 on the PlayStation 4, we said “…it’s the best DC Universe story ever told in a video game and features some of the best presentation values in the industry today.”
