It goes without saying that 2022 is a great year to be a lover of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video games. Last month, the game of the year caliber Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge dropped, surpassing 1 million units sold in its opening week. Before anyone could even get a chance to get tired of that game – if such a thing is even possible – Konami is set to drop another highly anticipated TMNT release very soon to an audience who’s already eating the best pizza with their favorite toppings.
Announced earlier this year, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection assembles all of the beloved TMNT games from the NES, SNES, Arcade, Genesis and Game Boy into one slick package. This just isn’t a mere compilation, however, as certain titles will be playable online, save states as well as rewind functionality have been added, and developer Digital Eclipse has added plenty of bonus content too.
So when can players get their hands on it? The wait won’t be long as The Cowabunga Collection arrives August 30th on the PlayStation and Xbox family of consoles, the Nintendo Switch and PC.
