Over the years, there have been many games set in the DC Universe, namely the various LEGO offerings and the Injustice franchise, but very few titles where the Justice League are the starring act. In fact, the last outing with the team’s name in the title was Justice League Heroes released all the way back in 2006. Before the Suicide Squad tries to kill them in May, the Justice League will break their near 2-decade long absence in the video game space with the release of DC’s Justice League: Cosmic Chaos.

Published by Outright Games with development duties from PHL Collective, the same people who dropped DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace this summer, Cosmic Chaos has the Justice League defending their home of Happy Harbor from Mr. Mxyzptlk. As the output of Outright Games is skewed towards a younger audience, the roster of playable characters is limited to Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman with characters like Cyborg and Flash playing supporting roles. You can play by yourself or with up to 2-players in local co-op.
