NEWS ROUND UP: HELLBOY GETS PHYSICAL, MK1 MAKES PEACE AND SPIDEY GETS AN UPDATE

I’m going to experiment with something different with how I do news delivery here. As opposed to chasing it when it comes up, something that’s hard to capitalize on as I work a full-time job, I’m going to try summarizing a week or so’s worth of news stories in a newsletter style format.

PEACEMAKER COMES TO MORTAL KOMBAT 1 AT THE END OF THE MONTH

Mortal Kombat 1‘s first comic book guest fighter, Omni-Man from Robert Kirkman’s Invincible, has been in the latest chapter of the long running series for a few months now. He’s about to get some company as Peacemaker, voiced by John Cena himself, will arrive starting February 28th. Presumably this date will be for those who bought into the premium edition with others getting access shortly after. More details will follow regarding both Peacemaker and the start of a new season for the game as the month rolls onwards.

It will come in both a standard and collectors edition for the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. Sadly, nothing is planned for Xbox players.
