Looks like someone else has been craving a little Acclaim lately other than myself.
In an interview with Techraptor, Samuel Villarreal, a level designer on games like Aliens: Colonial Marines and FEAR: Perseus Mandate stated he had claimed the rights to the classic N64 FPS and had been rebuilding it for modern machines with the help of Night Dive studios who have become famous for making old games new again. The Turok reconfigure, titled Turok EX, was reportedly in active development but put on the back burner while Night Dive finishes up work retooling another mid-90’s shooter, Powerslave. Development is expected to resume later this year.
