THE WALKING DEAD: SEASON 3 EXPECTED IN 2016 AND FPS SPIN-OFF TO SHOW AT E3

The Walking Dead is no stranger to having multiple incarnations show up in the video game universe with 2013 getting both The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct from Activision and the season of Telltale’s series along with the 400 Days DLC for Season One. Today we get news on two different The Walking Dead games, both of which won’t see the light of day until 2016.

First up is Telltale’s The Walking Dead which we’re being informed will not see its third season until next year. However, something from the universe is expected to arrive this year, more than likely another 400 Days still mini-adventure as an add-on to Season Two.

Next up is Starbreeze’s FPS spin-off game which was announced last year for a 2016 release. A PDF regarding Starbreeze’s E3 plan states that the game is to have a “Significant presence” at this year’s show, hopefully meaning we’ll get some more information about the game other than the small teaser that accompanied the game’s unveiling last year.
