Yesterday a firm release date for the 3.0 edition of Disney Infinity was announced for August 30th along with a ton of other Star Wars and Disney figures. With comic-con coverage ramping up, it was revealed further today that two new Marvel figures will join the new Star Wars and Disney offerings: Ultron and Hulkbuster Iron Man, both as they appeared in this summer’s Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. From the announcement of the game several months ago is was unveiled that these two will be coming to Disney Infinity 3.0, and both will represent the only Marvel playset in the heavily Star Wars focused edition of the toys-to-life game. Hulkbuster’s ability have yet to be made public, but Ultron will have the ability to summon drones, release a destructive wave of energy and also comes equipped with magnetic abilities.
