Well, here’s a nice birthday present to me!
One of the worst kept secrets as of late has finally been confirmed by publisher WB Games: Both Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City are being remastered on one disc in a package called Batman: Return to Arkham for both PS4 and Xbox One. Though it’s missing the rumored June 10th release date that was floating around ,next month, the game will arrive not long after that on July 26th. The port is being handled by Virtuous who recently ported Heavy Rain to the PS4 and WB Games is promising “improved graphics, as well as upgraded models, environments, lighting, effects and shaders…as well as all of the games’ downloadable content.” Should this port be a solid one, this looks like it could be the best way to own these games or for those who missed out on them for some unforseen reason last-gen to experience them for the first time.
