Lego Marvel’s The Avengers on both the PS Vita and 3DS is perhaps the closest the folks at TT Games have come to bringing the console experience to handhelds. Whereas previous Lego games on both devices were paired down, levels only affairs, Lego Marvel’s The Avengers had explorable open areas where quests and other collectibles waited. Now the handheld games are getting one step closer to the console experience by offering the first ever expansion for a handheld Lego title. The characters, unfortunately no level, from the recently released Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D level pack are coming to both platforms this week. From Steve Thornton of TT Games:
