The leak that turned into a more or less official confirmation yesterday thanks to Gamestop is now official: Injustice 2 is coming in 2017. The first trailer for the game has just arrived online and in it, we have the The Flash rushing in to beatdown Superman, only to be stopped by Batman who powers himself up somehow with a green, possible Kryptonite energy. Returning fighter Aquaman also makes an appearance as well as newcomers Supergirl, what looks like a second Superman, maybe Superboy, and another Batman who could be either Red Hood, the Arkham Knight, or even Batman Beyond. The ominous narration alludes to the main villain, who brings up “resurrection” as well as “the pit”. Ra’s Al Ghul, perhaps? Watch the trailer below:
