BATMAN: ARKHAM VR TO HAVE A 2.5 HOUR PLAYTIME

At a cost of $29.99 in Canada, you wouldn’t expect the first Batman VR title, Batman: Arkham VR, to be the same length as the core Arkham series. Dax Ginn, a brand marketing producer for Rocksteady games, has gone on record to say that the core game will take players around an hour to finish, however completing the main portion of the game will unlock about ninety extra minutes of content for a grand total of two-and-a-half hours of overall game. That also being said, Ginn also stated that there’s “plenty of reasons to play through the game multiple times in order to see everything that we have put into it.”

Given the low price of the game, it’s a reasonable playtime but when you consider the cost of the PS VR headset: $549.99 in Canada alone or $699.99 if you require the camera and move controllers, plus a PlayStation 4 if you don’t have one already, that’s not quite enough to justify the unit if you simply just want to play Batman: Arkham VR. That being said though, if I had that much money, I would totally be picking this up next week so call it sour grapes if you will.
