It’s only a little over twenty-four hours until the 2016 Game Awards any a meger few days away from Sony’s PlayStation Experience, or PSX for short, where among other things we could possibly see the announcement of a Marvel Vs. Capcom 4 and potentially the actual reveal of Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy. One game we sadly shouldn’t hold out hope of seeing is Insomniac’s PS4 exclusive Spider-Man title. From the companies Twitter account:
The most we’ve seen from Spider-Man outside of the E3 reveal trailer is a brief snippet of Insomniac’s take on the character as part of a new PlayStation commercial. As disappointing as it is that we won’t get a chance to see any new Spider-Man news, it’s encouraging to hear that Insomniac is holding off showing the game until they have something major to show. As we’ve seen this year with the controvery surrounding this summer’s No Man’s Sky, companies have perhaps learned to hold the hype train in station a little while longer to avoid the public getting burned out on a title too quickly by showing too much.
