2013’s Lego Marvel Super Heroes was a game that was so fantastic that it was awarded Comic Gamers Assemble’s best Marvel console video game of all time. While I was of the few who really loved 2016 Lego Marvel’s the Avengers, what I, and I’m sure many, deep down really wanted was a sequel to Lego Marvel Super Heroes which was just announced via a brief teaser on the official Facebook page of LEGO Marvel Video Game. The video is only a scant fifteen seconds long, showing little more than Baby Groot, Doctor Strange as he appeared in last year’s film based on that character and a title screen. The official trailer and reveal I’m assuming will come next week on May 23rd. I guess this means that with an official LMSH sequel coming that we won’t be getting Marvel characters coming to Lego Dimensions, but as much as I would love for that to happen, I’ll take a full on Lego Marvel sequel any day. More as it develops.
