In a video that can be likened to Nintendo’s “Iwata Asks” videos that were hosted by the late Satoru Iwata, Telltale just revealed three major continuations to some of their comic book inspired series in a Summer Update video for the company. First up was Batman: The Telltale Series: The Enemy Within which has a season premiere of August 8th of next month. This time the main antagonist will be the Riddler and “John Doe”, who may or may not be Telltale’s take on the Joker, will play a major role as well. The fourth, and final season of The Walking Dead, appropriately labelled as The Walking Dead; The Telltale Series: The Final Season, will arrive at sometime during 2018 and will conclude Clementine’s journey that started all the way back in 2012. There was no mention in the video as to whether the Garcia’s will play a role, but it will take place after A New Frontier with Clem resuming her search for AJ. The final, and perhaps biggest surprise, is that Telltale will indeed be continuing 2013’s The Wolf Among Us in 2018. This is something that Telltale was trying to deny was happening, and even provided some decent evidence to throw off the scent. I’m sure many fans are glad that Telltale proved the rumor to be true and are returning to the world of Fables. Check out the video below:
