THE FINAL SEASON OF TELLTALE’S THE WALKING DEAD SEES THE RETURN OF THE WRITER OF ROGUE ONE

Telltale revealed this summer that they’ll conclude their The Walking Dead saga in 2018 with one more season that has a working title of The Walking Dead: The Final SeasonThe company announced today that one of the creators who helped shaped the series, Gary Whitta, who also worked on last year’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, will return as a story consultant for the series finale. Whitta helped crafted the fourth episode of the critically acclaimed first season during its run in 2012. Whitta had this to say in a press release:

“Collaborating with Telltale on the first season of Clementine’s journey through the world of The Walking Dead was one of the highlights of my career, so reuniting with them to now bring her story to a close with this final season feels like a homecoming,…Clementine has become not just one of the most compelling characters in the Walking Dead pantheon but one of the great video game characters of all time. I hope we’re able to do justice to her and to her millions of fans. This one feels special.”

To get caught up on the entirety of The Walking Dead, you can also look for The Walking Dead Collection on both PS4 and Xbox One starting on December 5th which collects every single episode of Telltale’s series in one complete package.
