Next weekend will see the release of the first ever live-action Justice League film, but Warner Bros. had tried to bring the team to cinemas almost a decade ago. Mad Max: Fury Road director George Miller was working on a film that would have been titled Justice League Mortal and WB’s interactive division was set to have a game launch alongside the feature that never happened developed by Double Helix. The game has been the subject of game preservation YouTube Channel PTPOnline, and now Liam Robertson has similarly investigated into the Justice League game that never was in his latest video. Robertson breaks down the story, the characters, and how the guts of Justice League went on to become the building blocks for their other DC Comics video game, Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters.
